What Does Access Bars® Feel Like?
One of the questions I'm asked most often is, "What does Access Bars actually feel like?"
The simple answer is that every session is different.
Some people feel deeply relaxed and drift into sleep. Others notice a quiet mind, a sense of lightness, or simply enjoy having uninterrupted time to rest. There is no right or wrong way to experience an Access Bars session.
Every Session Is Different
Access Bars® is a gentle hands-on session where 32 points on the head are lightly touched.
Rather than trying to make something happen, the session creates space for your mind and body to relax in whatever way is available for you that day.
Some people notice change during the session, while others recognise the effects over the following days.
During an Access Bars Session You May Notice
Everyone's experience is unique, but people often describe:
Deep relaxation
Feeling calm or peaceful
A quieter mind
Falling asleep
A sense of lightness
Feeling more present
Less mental chatter
A feeling of spaciousness
Some people notice very little during the session itself, and that's perfectly normal too.
What Might You Feel Afterwards?
After a session people often tell me they feel:
More relaxed
Clearer mentally
Better able to prioritise
More present with themselves
Like they've had a really good night's sleep
For others, the changes are much more subtle and unfold over the days that follow.
Because everyone arrives with different experiences, stresses and priorities, every session can feel different.
Do You Have To Believe In It?
No.
You don't need to understand Access Bars® or believe anything for the session itself.
Many people simply choose to experience it with curiosity and notice what changes for them afterwards.
Can You Sleep During a Session?
Absolutely.
Many people fall asleep, while others remain awake throughout.
Neither experience is better than the other.
Your body responds in the way that's right for you.
Is It Normal To Feel Emotional?
Sometimes.
People occasionally notice emotions, memories or thoughts coming up during or after a session.
For others, nothing like this happens at all.
There is no expected experience, and there is no "correct" response.
My Experience
One of the things I enjoy most about facilitating Access Bars® is seeing how different every session is.
Some people leave talking about how quiet their mind feels.
Others simply say they feel lighter.
Some can't quite explain what's different—they just know something has shifted.
There is no experience that you're supposed to have.
Only your experience.
