The Settled Body Method
The Settled Body Method is a gentle, body-based way of working that supports the nervous system to settle without force.
Rather than trying to change or fix anything, it creates enough space for the body to stop bracing and reorganise on its own.
This work is slow, permission-based, and choice-led.
There is nothing to achieve and nothing you need to do.
Settling is not about collapsing or switching off.
It’s a state of rest with tone — relaxed, present, and available.
When the body feels supported enough to be here:
effort reduces
sensation becomes easier to tolerate
integration happens naturally
change tends to land quietly and stay
The Settled Body Method is not a standalone “technique.”
It is the foundation that informs all of my work — including sound sessions, movement classes, and one-to-one body sessions.
This approach may be supportive if you’re drawn to gentler ways of working with the body, nervous system, and awareness.
There’s no pressure to understand it before experiencing it.
Most people simply notice how it feels.
If your body is asking for more space, this work offers a place to begin.
Explore the sessions and see what opens when you choose space.
