Human Garage FAQs
Questions are welcome.
If you're new to Human Garage®, you probably have a few of them. Here are the ones I'm asked most often.
-
Human Garage® is a movement practice built around Fascial Manoeuvres®—simple daily movements that invite you to explore a different relationship with your body.
For me, it isn't about fixing yourself. It's about becoming curious enough to notice what your body has been communicating all along.
-
Fascial Manoeuvres® are the movements at the heart of Human Garage®.
They might look simple, but there's much more going on than the movement itself. They're an invitation to slow down, move differently and notice what changes when you do.
-
Anyone who's curious.
You don't need to know anything about fascia or movement, and you certainly don't need to have experience. If something about Human Garage® has caught your attention, that's probably enough to begin.
-
Not at all.
Whether you've been following Human Garage® online for years or you've only just discovered it, you'll be guided from wherever you are.
-
Wear something comfortable that you can move freely in.
There's no special kit required—just clothes you feel relaxed in.
-
It depends on what you've booked.
You'll find the length of each session or experience on the booking page, so you'll know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
-
I offer Human Garage® online and in person here in Cambridgeshire.
The location will always be included on the booking page, and if you've booked a one-to-one session, we'll arrange a time and place that works for us both.
-
The 28 Day Life Reset is Human Garage®'s guided introduction to Fascial Manoeuvres®.
It's a chance to build a simple daily practice and spend a little time with your body each day. Nothing to perfect. Just an opportunity to show up, explore and notice.
-
Absolutely.
Many people choose to come back to the Reset because they're different each time they experience it. As you change, your awareness changes too.
-
No.
Human Garage® isn't about being flexible or athletic. It's about meeting your body where it is today and becoming curious about what it has to show you.
-
es.
I offer Human Garage® coaching online and in person here in Cambridgeshire if you'd like a more personalised experience.
Some people love learning in a group. Others prefer the space to explore one-to-one. Both are equally valuable.
-
No.
You don't need to believe anything.
You don't need to understand fascia before you begin.
You don't even need to know whether Human Garage® is for you.
Just come with an open mind, explore the movements and notice your own experience. That's far more valuable than taking anyone else's word for it.
I still have a question...
If there's something you haven't found the answer to, you're always welcome to get in touch.
I'm happy to answer your questions and help you decide whether Human Garage® feels like the right place to begin.
