Lets get back to basics...
What exactly is a brand?
When establishing what a thing is I find it is always useful to get really clear on meaning… So what does BRAND mean?
a type of product manufactured by a particular company under a particular name.

an identifying mark burned on livestock or (especially in former times) criminals or slaves with a branding iron.
"the brand on a sheep identifies it as mine"

So, to summarise...
A type of product made under a particular name / An identifying mark
When investigating what a BRAND is, I came across a few different ideas. Below is my summary as to the best way I have investigated and come to the conclusion of exactly what it takes to be called a BRAND.
B – BUILDING BLOCKS
A brand is the complete picture of all the different building blocks you have arranged and designed to create your customers experience, it needs to be consistent across all areas of your business in order to establish and build trust and loyalty.
R – RAPPORT
A Brand is the Beliefs, Thoughts, Values and Ethics between YOUR BUSINESS and YOUR CUSTOMER
A – ASSURANCE
A Brand is a promise of what your customer will experience from your business
N – NATURAL CULTURE
A Brand is the culture of your business, the personality, the character, the style.
D – DISTINCT
A Brand is WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT – it makes you stand out from the crowd and becomes the unique identity of your business.
